Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

  • St. Andrew's Episcopal Church 2404 N Howard St Spokane, WA USA (map)

We invite you and your family to join us Tuesday 12/24 at 7:00 p.m. for a Christmas Eve Eucharist Service at St. Andrew’s! All are welcome to join us for worship as we celebrate the birth of Christ - “Repeat the Sounding Joy!”

Our timeless worship service includes scripture readings recounting the story of God’s entering into the world through Jesus’ birth, preaching from the Rev. Jeremy Armstrong, Eucharist, and classical Christmas hymns set to beautiful organ music. The service concludes with “Silent Night” sung by candlelight and afterwards, St. Nicholas will make a special appearance for the kids!

St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church is a loving, inviting, inclusive Christian community which recently celebrated its 95th Anniversary of ministry in Spokane’s Emerson Garfield neighborhood. We welcome congregants and visitors from the neighborhood and across the greater Spokane area. Visitors are invited to follow along with the worship service in the bulletin. St. Andrew’s loves children and welcomes them to worship! Our sanctuary includes a family play area near the back with space for kids to stretch their legs - if they need a break during the service, we have an inviting nursery just down the hall complete with toys, books, and a changing table.

Parking and disabled access is located in the parking lot to the northeast of the church building. Street parking is also available.

Please note, we will also hold a small Christmas Day service at 10:00 am on 12/25. All are welcome!
